Last night, Chabad of Northeast Florida hosted a Tu B'Shvat event for the women of the Jacksonville Jewish community, offering an evening filled with fun, relaxation, and meaningful insights!

It started off with some refreshments prepared by Estie Kahanov. The spread included various fruits and cakes with meaningful correlations to Tu B'svat.
Little messages were included on the spread, some read:
"Man is like a tree of field."
"He who plants a tree, plants a hope."
"From little seeds, grow mighty trees."
After that, the painting instrcutor got started on showing us how to make a beautigul night sky with blossoming trees. Everything was set up for us, from the canvases, to the paint palette, brushes, paper towel and water cup.

Although we all were painting the same thing, each painting came out so unique and different!
We enjoyed chatting in between, making jokes, sipping wine, and marveling at the differences in our strokes.
While painting, volunteers were called up to read a Dvar Torah, and we all learned more insights on Tu B'shvat.
