The city of Jacksonville is a known medical hub, and the Jewish community has stepped up to fill the need for Jews who come for treatment. The Bikur Cholim of Jacksonville was founded by Avi & Tzippy Zaguri, known in the Jewish community for their continuous Chesed.
The first local in hospital Bikur Cholim is located hospital at the Baptist Medical Center South located in the Vending Area on the 2nd floor across from Surgical Waiting Area. The access code for the Pantry is 324. The pantry is stocked with Kosher Food, Shabbat Candles and more.
The second local in hospital Bikur Cholim can be found at Baptist Medical Center Downtown (also Wolfson's). The multi purpose room is inside the 1st floor Chapel. The room is stocked with Kosher Food, Shabbat Candles and more.
The Chapel is located on the 1st Floor near the Starbucks. Inside the Chapel is a Multi-Purpose Room. The code to enter the room is: 5324# The Lock Pad Pin is: 1386
Bikur Cholim if Northeast Florida is pleased to provide you with food, shabbat candles, and more due to the generosity of their donors and volunteers. There is also warehouse stocked with assorted medical equipment.
They ask that you do the following:
Please lock the pantry after accessing it
Please do not leave anything on the counter
Please contact them if you need anything not provided in the pantry, or you would like a volunteer to visit you

Hot Kosher food is now available at Mayo Clinic! Guests can also request Kosher food in the cafeteria.
